Using cutting edge tech to help raise funds for UN Crisis Relief
After the terrible earthquake that devastated Türkiye and Syria we wanted to do something to raise funds fast. We used AI to create images of iconic UK landmarks after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake. From Piccadilly Circus to The Royal Albert Hall, the images brought a far away humanitarian crisis much closer to home and helped people to understand the scale of the aftermath.
AI Aid was the first campaign in the UK to use AI to produce a tactical response to current events. As part of the campaign we developed the AI Aid platform, branding and website. The powerful images gave viewers an emotional connection to a far away place and prompted donations.
The zeitgeisty AI tech got the story back in the headlines and in front of millions of eyeballs. With no media budget, the campaign resulted in over 7.7 million media impressions and was covered in press. It even received Campaign and The Drum’s Ad of the Day.
